XLRI School of Business and Human Resources in collaboration with Yi (Young Indians) and promoted by CII, established the first Yi Net at XLRI, Jamshedpur through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in April 2008. The members of the Yi Net consist of entrepreneurs, professionals, students and progressive achievers from different walks of life.
The objectives of CII-Yi are:
- To take up socially responsible and development projects in the areas of Education, Employability, Environment and Healthcare
- To facilitate youth to unleash their potential and create a positive impact
- To promote knowledge
CII Yi net at XLRI contributes by organizing events in these areas, both inside and outside XLRI, Jamshedpur.
